Ex-F1 stars Mark Blundell and Martin Brundle have set up a new company, 2MB Sports Management Ltd, to provide a management service for racing drivers.

The two former Brabham and Ligier team-mates will represent drivers within motorsport, offering a comprehensive portfolio including legal, commercial, marketing and communications services.

Announcement of new signings to 2MB are expected shortly.

"Mark approached me with this concept and I am delighted to join forces with him," said Brundle.

"Together we have a tremendous knowledge and experience of all aspects of motorsport. As team-mates at Brabham, Ligier and F1-ITV we know that we work well together and have complimentary skills and outlook.

"Mark will lead the organisation and be the first point of contact, and I will contribute as and when my experience and contacts are needed. Hopefully this is a business which will grow over the next few years."

"2MB will focus on young talent and we hope we will be able to promote British drivers," added Mark, who writes regularly for Crash.net.

"We will also be looking to work with drivers from around the world competing at national and international level. With the depth of experience that Martin and I share, we aim to develop the business and grow the company."
